Safety Now

Safety Now is a custom scripted web-based app which the client required to allow employees on-site to report Health & Safety issues more effectively.

Some of the custom scripted functionality includes generating custom QR codes which can be placed in various locations around the site. This allows the employee to take a picture of the incident which they encounter, scan the QR code and submit this incident to the Safety Officer. This allows the incident to be reviewed and, if needed, forwarded to the responsible person to deal with the matter further.

Additional functionality is for the Safety Officer, and selected individuals, to keep track of the progress in rectifying the compliance issue, as well as allowing the responsible person to submit a picture and feedback of the issue after it has been resolved.

The system has a shopping cart allowing users to purchase the textbooks.

The system also provides resources to the teachers that come in handy in the classroom environment.

Additional features which were also included, is the option to view the videos in both Afrikaans and English to suit the needs of the user.

The Safety Officer has ease of access to generating a report of the incidents monthly, or whenever required, which contains all the information pertaining to the incident.
